Dream Diary #5: Water World

From a visual and sensual perspective, this dream was absolutely stunning.

The dream began mundane enough - I was sitting outside a cafe with my mother and sister, enjoying a drink. Then, the dream somehow switched and instead of sitting outside a run-of-the-mill cafe, we were in a holiday resort.

The resort - fantastical, luxurious and somewhat futuristic - was an enormous tree (think: Avatar) that resided and thrived in salt water, overlooking a beautiful, clear, deep, turquoise ocean that stretched for miles, so that no land was visible, even from the highest peak.

After my mother, sister and I had finished our drinks we walked back to our room. The tree had a transparent glass staircase/path that wound all the way around the trunk of the tree and even as my sister and mother walked along the path I knew the glass would break as soon as I walked across - which it did!

I watched the glass crack beneath my feet - and observed just how many hundreds of feet I had to fall in the water - I was afraid, but as I began to fall I made a choice to just relax and 'go with the flow', as it were.

As I hit the water, it was a truly soothing and peaceful experience.

For a few moments, I simply lay back and let the water envelop me.

The water was absolutely beautiful; crystal clear and every bit of oceanic flora and fauna was visible as I made a conscious decision to swim amongst and interact with them.

I rose to the surface and saw many work men, tending to the roots of the tree.
